Served in both Atlantic and Pacific fleets. Recruiting duty in Mississippi. Staff duty in Pensacola overseeing a budget in excess of $40,000,000 annually. Flight test support and Sea Navigation Center Testing on USNS Waters. Never had true shore duty and proud of it. I didn't have the easiest transition to civilian life. I worked part time jobs until I found work as a car salesman. I finally broke into the defense contractor industry with Raytheon Technical Services Corporation as a Communications Technician on USNS Invincible. Sailed the Persian/Arabian Gulf and surrounding areas until I was injured enroute to a mission in a typhoon. I now live in a small Virginia town. VA finally rated me 100% SC after a long process.
