Over 30 years of civil and military leadership experience providing staff and line weather and climate support to agencies across the federal sector. Led operational and research organizations with up to 300 personnel and budget authority of $100M+, and managed four medium to large data centers. Transitioned numerous state-of-the-art software and hardware technologies into operations.

Military Experiences

2007 - 2009
Commander
Led 87 military, civilian and contract personnel to ingest, quality control, store, simulate and exploit global environmental information in support of military planning, and combat and intelligence operations. Oversaw a $4.6M annual budget and maintained a $20M computer complex, including a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF). Managed an Office for the Modeling and Simulation Executive Agent and the Air Force Weather Technical Library, which contains over 250,000 documents.
2005 - 2007

Led 11 officer and civilian atmospheric scientists (MS/PhD) that provide support and services to mitigate environmental risks to acquisition programs under the Aeronautical Systems Center (ASC) and Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL). Recruited personnel, established training requirements, oversaw work priorities, provided feedback, assessed performance, presented awards, monitored leave, managed conflict resolution and administered discipline. Oversaw $42K annual budget.
