I am a "late bloomer", I enlisted at 34yo. I do wish I had done this at an earlier age, but so far I love my choice. After A School in Pensacola for AM (Aviation Structural Mechanic) I was assigned to the USS Bataan LHD 5 in Norfolk, VA. I was sent to C school for welding and really enjoy that as well. Hoping to move on to NDI tech.
