Planned military exercises for Unified Command and its Transportation Component Commands. Original member of USTRANSCOM staff (1988). Planned, directed and evaluated the first major command post exercise in which USTRANSCOM participated, PROUD EAGLE 90, in partnership with Joint Staff J7, Services, Agencies, and Transportation Component Command. Managed sourcing and deployment of Air and Ground Forces to joint service operations and exercises. USREDCOM as force provider tasked Army Forces Command and Air Force Tactical Air Command (ARRED and AFRED) for forces. Also worked with Joint Communication Support Element and Joint Task Force HQ to provide specialized capabilities to the theater Combatant Commands. Helped plan raid on Libya. Transitioned to USSOCOM when USREDCOM stood down in 1987.

Scheduled C-130, C-12, and contracted aircraft to deliver supplies and personnel to remote austere locations throughout Alaska and Canada. Ensured training and readiness requirements were met.
