Established the first Multidiscipline Counterintelligence (MDCI) cell as well as prepared the Analysis Control Element (ACE) for the introduction of the All Source Analysis System. Worked as an ASAS Systems supervisor integrating the system with maneuver and support elements. Worked the ASAS-Warrior system, creating a database, for rear area threat and force protection analysis. Worked with the Modular Architecture for Exchange of Intelligence (MAXI) system, setting up message profiles and accessing National Intelligence databases to answer questions posed by the Division commander and G-2. NCOIC of the MDCI\Targeting Cell working 5 major and minor field exercise problems identifying targets of opportunity for the Division commander and passing target nominations.

Worked as an MDCI supervisor in an Echelons Above Corps ACE. Created a database for 21 Middle Eastern countries using the MAXI system and INTELINK. This included identifying and entering all applicable keywords and creating the primary country database with corresponding MDCI threat subfolders. Introduced the section to a counterintelligence program that was used as a stand-alone database system. Produced the two most comprehensive foreign intelligence threat assessments since the 1st Gulf War, which identified the Counter-HUMINT, Counter-SIGINT and Counter-IMINT threat. Identified a new hostile intelligence threat and doctrine change that had not previously been identified by national or joint level intelligence agencies and changed the DIA country profile.

Chosen to act as a liaison for the national level intelligence agencies and worked with the Terrorism/HUMINT Team in the Army Intelligence Agency for two months producing a comprehensive Threat database for 19 Middle Eastern countries. Worked in MDCI operations in Saudi Arabia and Egypt, along with CI teams, creating an all-inclusive threat analysis report on friendly vulnerabilities. With no written guidance on MDCI operations, established methodologies within the company that were two years ahead of U.S Army doctrine. Created the first counter-signals intelligence exercises, which initiated the establishment of new concrete procedures for the unit’s unique mission. Deployed the platoon and equipment on various worldwide missions (Desert Storm, Bright Star).
