Medical Readiness Program Officer
Managed the planning and programming of the Field Medical Equipment Modernization program. A program to modernized field medical units at all levels in a systematic plan. Prior to retirement completed the modernization of all division level medical service in the Active Army, Army Reserve and National Guard, to include all war reserve stocks. All modernized equipment and supply was a portion of the joint service Deployable Medical Systems (DEPMEDS) program.

Commander / Chief, Inventory Management
As the Chief Inventory Management, managed the accounting for various Medical war reserve inventories in CONUS and the worldwide. As Commander, of the 153rd Med Det (Supply) I coordinated the training for personnel in preparation for deployment worldwide to augment Medical Logistics unit capabilities for inventory management. In 1981 the 153rd Med Det traveled Oakland Army Terminal where is organized the equipment and supplies for three Army Hospital units that were loaded on a ship for deployment afloat in support of contingency plans.

Managed training and implementation of SAILS system at USAMMCE. Managed operation of the SAILS system for day-to-day inventory management at USAMMCE in support of EUCOM forces and various Department of State activities in Europe, Middle East and Africa. Managed the war reserve accounting program.

Participated in the definition of requirements for the integration of medical supply into the Standard Army Intermediate Level Systems (SAILS) for inventory management of supply. Managed the development, testing, training and implementation of an interim inventory management system to replace 7 non-standard automated systems and extend automated accounting to all MEDDACs in CONUS in preparation for implementation of SAILS in CONUS. Interim system was delivered and implementd on-time and under budget.
