Created the first set of formal routine and casualty operating procedures for the GIS. Project manager for the submarine waterspace planning improvement resulting in a reduction of processing time from 5 days to 2 days and 32% fewer reworks for errors. Project manager for the GIS upgrade (GCCS 4.0), directed its installation and oversaw the system checkout, acceptance and accreditation. Analyzed over 20 instances of waterspace processing errors, identified root causes, created plan of action and milestones to correct (POAM), and improved training and qualification processes to minimize recurrence of the events.
