I am currently an Infantry Squad Leader in the MDARNG, a job I chose not out of a lack of options, but rather because I wanted to be part of a unique group of individuals; soldiers who had volunteered for combat assignment in the midst of two wars purely out of a sense of duty. My career up to now how been an amazing journey, and it is one I hope to continue until the Army forces me to retire.
