Aeromedical Evacuation Operations Officer

1st Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron | Pope Field, NC

Served as Operations Officer and later as Chief of Operations. Unit was only Tactical Aeromedical Evacuation unit in active Air Force. As such we supported training activities globally with US Army Forces Command and other operational commands in support of global readiness exercises. Training of Guard and Reserve units with similar functions was huge part of mission. Flew as medical support crew on C-130, C-141 and C-9 aircraft.
