Did 3 years active duty Jun 63-Jun 66. Trained as an 11B at Ft Dix, then Korea as an 11B and finally Ft Lewis where I ETS'd as an O5C20 Radio Teletype Operator. Took 6 years for me to get back to a reserve unit and enlisted as a PFC and went to the 98th Division Drill Sgt School. Went up quickly in the reserve from PFC to 1st Sgt in 5 years. Stayed in the 98th til retirement as an acting CSM.
