I graduated from the 34F Course and I was told that I can expect to be sent to NAM. Now-Now! I wasn't a US Citizen yet! No problem! With two of my fellow Techs, in 'Class A's went to the US DISTRICT Court in Newark, NJ. What we have seen there was , like a WW2 Movie set, parts of the city was destroyed, we went right after the riots. I was presented to a Judge, repeated the oath after him and with my two witnesses it was done in less than 15 minutes, I BECAME a CITIZEN! Now NAM was in the cards!
