Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF) - Afghanistan
Stayed in a remote mountain outpost where there were running bets on who was the next person that was going to get food poisoning from the red-headed haj working in our, and I use this term VERY loosely, "DFAC." Got food poisoning the day of our last week-long patrol and ended-up puking on everybody's rucksack out the side of our GMV. Good times.

Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF)
Night combat jump at 500' AGL w/no reserve. Got knocked out on impact; thought I broke my NVGs but it was just so fuck'n dark they didn't work. Swam naked in the Euphrates River with a questionable AK47 to recon an island for enemy. Swimming and CBN suits don't work well together and yes, I was going commando. Better stop there.
