Directly responsible to the Battalion Commander for managing the Battalion SHARP program for an Initial Entry Training Battalion of over 1,800 Soldiers, Army Civilians and Contractors; responsible to provide/oversee awareness and prevention, training and education, victim advocacy, response, reporting and follow up for sexual harassment/assault issues; oversaw a cadre of up to 15 company level Unit Victim Advocates ensuring they received support and resources required; ensured victims of sexual assault received all needed guidance and emotional support during administrative, medical, investigative, and legal procedures, and that victims understood the processes involved; ensured appropriate data was collected and reported to Brigade level SHARP personnel where the data was maintained.
