Outside of the assignments immediately below I served in VFA-146, as the Aviation Electricians Mate Detailer, VFA-27, HSL-31, ships company USS Midway (CV-41), VFA-151 and VF-151.

Additionally, primarily responsible for the personal and professional development of the departments Chiefs and Senior Chief Petty Officers - buy extension, the 160+ enlisted Sailors of the department.

Senior Enlisted Navy representative to the Army Commander of Combined Joint Task Force Phoenix, Afghanistan. Provided administrative and personnel support to the more than 375 Officer and Enlisted Sailors of the Task Force via Navy channels through United States Central Command (USNAVCENTFWD Bagram). Advised Army leaders at all levels on Sailor support and employment matters. Period of service included the New York Division of the New Year National Guard (27th Brigade Combat Team [BCT]), the Illinois National Guard (33rd BCT) and completed under the Georgia National Guard (48th BCT).

Led a team, coordinating all efforts with the team officer, composed of 12 senior enlisted Navy and Marine Corps aviation maintenance professionals. Responsible for conducting maintenance management evaluations/inspections of Navy and Marine Corps organizational and intermediate level aviation activities worldwide. Provided expert assistance and training to ensure strict compliance with the Naval Aviation Maintenance Program (NAMP) policies, made concise recommendations for process improvement to prevent or preclude discrepancies. Directed the administrative support efforts of the team that included inspections scheduling, liaison with Type Wing, Carrier Air Wing and Marine Air Wing maintenance representatives. Travel planning and budgeting. Administrative reporting.
