Enlisted in the Delayed Entry Program on January 22, 1974 and left for Boot Camp at MCRD Parris Island on Friday the 13th of September 1974. Initial assignment was as an 1833- Amtrac Crewman. LatMoved into 0131- Unit Diary Clerk in June of 1979, where I remained (Admin) for the remainder of my career.
