Realized a 30% increase in funding (from $28 million to $40 million). • Co-chairman of the DHS Boat Commodities counsel, an innovative leadership group of DHS agencies that operate boats. • Led over 250 personnel spread across 14 units in the execution of Search and Rescue, Port Security, Law Enforcement and Aids to Navigation missions prior to transition to new command. Flawlessly directed over 2000 search and rescue cases, hundreds of security patrols and escort missions, and promoted increased public boating safety efforts. • Directed the operational test and evaluation of a complex radio network system as a prototype maritime hailing and distress network prior to deployment across the nation.
