I was finally promoted to SGT! I was promoted to 62B20 and shortly after changed my PMOS to 55B20 and retained 62B20 as my Secondary MOS. We were deployed to Flagstaff, Arizona for rewarehousing and demolition of ordinances. Our unit as a whole broke every record that had been made in a two week period! Oorah!

Spent my entire tour as an SPC 4. I was the only 62B in our unit, of course I was in an over strength MOS! I became a Christian while at Ft. Polk. We attended REFORGER in 1985 and I had the privilege to show other soldiers from my unit my old stomping grounds.

Spent the majority of my time learning my MOS, was the Tool Truck Driver, Herman Nelson Operater, and the General Electric man when we were in the field.
Sep 1981 - Dec 1981
