Dock Officer
I provide physical and perimeter security at the Port of Texas City in a Foreign Trade Zone. I inspect credentials and maintain logs of all incoming/outgoing personnel, contractors and crew members on my assigned docks. I maintain all paperwork regarding inbound ships and see to its proper disposal when the ship departs. I conduct inspections of my surrounding area and make recommendations on camera placement to ensure that no one can illegally enter. The rest of the time I pull an "Otis Redding". Thank you to those who understood that reference. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rTVjnBo96Ug
