I left the AF in 1988, became a line mechanic at dealerships and transmission shops. Then re-joined the USAF Reserves, KC 130 line mechanic, got out after Tech school.Became a Computer tech in 1992 until economy crashed in 2010. Back to College, got a AAS degree 2013... still unemployed. Experienced in Cyber security. Running two e-bay stores currently

Air craft Mechanic
trained to become air craft mechanic - KC130, got out once again. Wanted Avionics, NOT tankers. NO interest refueling tankers. No interest in being glorified gas station jockey for aircraft. Met a LOT of really nasty - boarder line nut case people, that were in for the money, and did not care about doing the job, or training to do the job. STILL cannot get my medical records, which have been lost by this unit, for over 2 decades now.
My first meeting directed to HQ, a medium security Jail building...in processing, a Prison building - SJAFB was host site federal prisoners.... 1st SGT lied, Commander lied, squad leader lied...real building was across base.
Went to training, car was vandalized, fight broke out. 4/16 graduated. One classmate was discharged for fight. 27 stitches 2AM not fun
