Recent DIVO to the USS OSCAR AUSTIN (DDG 79) in Norfolk. Within a few weeks of Commissioning from OCS got underway for deployment. In charge of Combat Electronics division. By the end of deployment I was JOOD and OOD In-Port qualified as well as all my minor PQSs. Definitely doing the Navy long term. 50/50 if I stay a SWO or lateral transfer into PAO & utilize my Master's.
