Upon return to Conus in 1960 served in the 716th MP at Fort Dix, NJ. Duties were personal security of visiting military and heads of Governments in the metropolitan area of New Jersey and New York.

50th Military Police Company | East Orange, NJ

Commanded the NJARNG Combat MP Company comprising of over two hundred personnel and their equipment. Responsibility to support the Division Brigades and units when deployed for Training at Fort Drum NY or Fort Dix NJ. Also training for State emergencies and disasters when required. The brigades were in Vermont and New York State besides New Jersey. The MP Company was fully mobile with its own Motor Maintenace, Mess and vehicles to support the Division mission requirements.

Specialized Security assignments as enlisted MP Officer for the European Command Post Headquarters. Personal security and Headquarters security duties also included personal security protection for upper ranking Officers of the command. Assignments were on Post and when Command Headquarters personnel were deployed.
