I lead a group of people who know more than I do but still somehow find value in keeping me around. Not much has really changed over the years, except for the gray hair and few lessons learned.
I support people smarter than me and help them to do their jobs. Aside from not having Automatic Weapons and Demolitions in my problem solving kit for how to deal with difficult people, it's a lot like the military. On the plus side, problems these days don't involve sleeping on the ground in the rain, getting shot at, or moon dust lodged in bodily crevices.
