Dropmaster on the USCG C-130. After I was medically retired I worked in Computer support for US Air Force as a civilian employee. I went on to become a Human Resources Specialist for US Air Force and later accepted employment with USDA where I have served as an IT Specialist and a Supervisory Management Analyst.

Multiple Deployments: Air Crew Member and Drop Master on US Coast Guard C-130s deployed to monitor Iceberg movements. US Coast Guard has been flying International Ice Patrol missions since 1914, a year after the Titanic sank off the coast of Newfoundland.

Brunswick, Maine: Fishery Patrol

Multiple deployments: Air Crew Member and Drop Master on US Coast Guard C-130s deployed to monitor illegal fishing in the Atlantic. These missions are flown to enforce protected areas which are illegal to fish. We would look for and observe illegal activity, obtain the fishing vessel registration information and notify US Coast Guard operations.

Borinquen, Puerto Rico: Illegal Immigration and Drug Patrols

Multiple Deployments: Air Crew Member and Drop Master on US Coast Guard C-130s deployed to monitor illegal immigration activity and drug trafficking in the Atlantic Ocean. We would look for and observe illegal activity, notify US Coast Guard operations and observe all activity until a boat resource could intercept and take over.
