Grew up in Binghamton, NY. Went to camp or on vacation in the summer. Did Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, and Outward Bound growing up. Went to culinary school and college. Worked in restaurants, sales, and marketing until September 11th happened. I quit my jobs, put my stuff in storage, and enlisted in our beloved Marine Corps. Correcting the correspondence of Officers, Staff NCO's, and NCO's. Sourcing Marines to fill the T/O of exercises and combat deployments. Arranging travel and pay for Marines to attend training, FAP's, and TAD's. Processing Marines for Admin Separation, EAS, and UCMJ violations.
I worked in the Head Shed, behind the scenes, where the not-fit-for-civilian-consumption stuff happened.
