In 2002, Bob ran unopposed for United States Congress in the San Fernando Valley (contingent on succession from the City of Los Angeles: failed). In 2006, Bob served as the Vice-Chairman of the Massachusetts Republican Assembly, ran for chair of the Massachusetts Republican Party in 2007, Massachusetts state representative in 2008, was a spokesman for the National Advisory Council for Project 21 for 11 years (2003 to 2014).
