Infantryman
Attended Boot Camp in San Diego in 1984 then OCS in 1985 with the honor to serve in the Infantry. Retired in March 2006 having served in numerous billets 1/9, 2/2, Joint Staff, 2nd Force Recon along with ancillary duties. The one thing I learned about leadership is that it comes in all shapes and sizes. The best leader I ever served with was a cook - yes - a cook. He wasn't a combat arms expert but knew his Marines and led them.
