Joined the Army in 1962 and spent most of my years in Airborne or Special Forces Units, serving mostly in Communications Operations. I was on jump status for over twenty one years. I retired at Ft Bragg NC with 24 years of service in 1986 and finally came back to Missouri in 2009. please excuse the picture....I put the uniform on for my High School Veterans Appreciation Day ...I was 70 years old..

Special Forces Communications Sergeant

I never got the chance to attend the Special Forces "Q" Course because of continual TDY"S and mobile Training team assignments but was determined to become qualified. I enrolled in every Non-Resident Extension course that John F. Kennedy center ever published, that I was allowed, including the complete SF Q Course and because of my large amount work in the field with the SF Detachments I was granted my "S" Qualification thru the 7th SF Group Commander.
