Bio
I recently joined Columbus City Utilities as an Engineering Technician. I have over 26 years of dedication and experience in the utility field with over 14 years as a supervisor. I was also a Sergeant in the Army National Guard, I know that I can provide the skills, expertise, and knowledge for any position or task given to me in a timely and professional manner. I am battle tested and ready to take on any challenge.
I was Commander of Amvets Post 509 in Columbus ,IN in 2014 and was Jr. Vice Commander in 2012-2013 .I was also an officer a 1 year trustee at VFW Post in Columbus,IN and also was 2nd Vice commander of American Legion Post 24 also in Columbus ,IN .I am currently a member of St.Johns Lodge 20 Free and accepted masons,a member of the Scottish Rite (Valley of Indianapolis) and on April 9th ,2016 I entered the Murat Shrine as a Shriner

I joined 1438th when it was just 1 year in existence and watched it grow from 30 members to over 150 members ,the unit's first deployment was Desert Sheild/Storm in my 11th year with them.The unit was stationed at Camp Atterbury,Indiana. 1983 in Germany I won the "Super Trucker of the Company" award given out annually to the top soldier in our company and it was an absolute honor for me to win that award.
I started a reunion 5 years ago of former and current members of my unit the 1438th.The 1st reunion only had 8 people show up and we have had over a 100 the last 2 years.In case anyone knows anyone that served with the 1438th trans co we have our reunions the 2nd Saturday in June at the welcome shelter on Schoolhouse Road at Johnson County Park adjacent to Camp Atterbury(Edinburg,IN).

Operation Desert Shield/Storm
Unload ,load & hauled tanks ,field artillery,supplies ,ammo and personnel carriers from the port to the front and recovery missions after the ground war was over. Was attached for 1 week to Seal Team 8,a few days to the 2nd Marine Division and with the 82nd airborne for a few days in the sand box. Spent majority of time on road in Iraq and Kuwait
