Bio

Retired/Disabled from Hostess Brands/Wonder Bread bakery in Sacramento, CA. 30 years as heavy truck mechanic & shop foreman. I have been dabbling in telecommunications, radio and computer telecom since mid 80's. I enjoy coin collecting (numismatics) and astronomy. I am also heavily involved in the fight to keep the 2nd amendment. Hard to do in CA.

Trained my team members on proper technique to set up and operate Radio Teletype Equipment, AN/GRC-142, KY-7 crypto device, install antenna equipment, and 5KW gen sets and drive M561 Gamma Goat. I also went tdy to other units to assist with their RTTY issues. I earned a ACM for my activities. 18 AUG 76, North Korean forces attacked a squad lead by two US officers and 10 KATUSA soldiers. All were killed. I participated in Operation Paul Bunyan by moving to battle field positions with all weapons and set up radio net while forces from the 2nd Inf Div moved into the DMZ and removed the dead and completed their mission. We were very close to full on combat, the greatest since the armistice in 1953.
