Reserve unit. Began in the HHC Orderly Room as the Active Guard Reserve (AGR), Personnel Services NCO, maintaining and processing documents at the company level, to include promotion packets, changes to personnel files, medical records, Unexcused Absence letters for Reservists and Unit Status Report. Later was moved up to the Command G1 section to be the Human Resource NCO, responsible for assisting in maintaining AGR medical records and personnel files, processing AGR leave requests, finance documents, discharge and reassignment orders, awards, promotion packets at the command level, status updates of subordinate units for Command Staff meeting, and secondary Casualty Notification and Assistance Coordinator. Trained to visit subordinate units for inspections and training.
