I started out as a TPU Reservist in 1988, then entered active duty in the AGR (Active Guard Reserve program) as a Title 10 Active Reservist, 1997. I worked as a 31K (25U) for my first five years 1988-93, and transferred to Transportation as a 88M (PLS Driver) and Squad Leader for four years. I took an unofficial/official break for 15 months. Entered active service as a 79R Recruiter, then retired as a 46Z OPS NCO December 31, 2019.

Public Affairs Chief
NCOIC for the 81st Readiness Division, Fort Jackson, SC. Overseeing Public Affairs policy, liaising with all sections of the command for Public Affairs information, information about the command and PA guidelines and command input in lieu of the Public Affairs Officer (LTC) Overseeing the publication, layout of and editing for the Wildcat electronic magazine, producing four to seven issues per year, produced product and information for the Official 81st RD Facebook page and Instagram page, as well as producing, editing and supervising Photographic contend that is uploaded to the web.

Duties included Operations and Security for the 343rd MPAD. Worked the Public Affairs Operations desk at the 10th Mountain, and followed by the 34th ID, with temporary duty in support of 1st Armor, 4th Combat Team PAO and the 28th CAB PAO. Produced 17 print products and 18 comics in support of the 34th ID Red Bull Newsletter.

Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF)
1SG for the 207th MPAD, reporting to the 1st COSCOM and the follow on command, 3rd COSCOM as the Logistics Command for the Iraqi theater of Operations. I supervised 15 enlisted Soldiers assigned to the 207th and 6 Soldiers assigned to the 28th PAD, followed by 6 Soldiers assigned to the 3rd COSCOM PA Office. Edited the Anaconda Times, and the News Real Anaconda.
