Graduate Student
Five of us graduated top 5 in Fixed Station AUTODIN class. We were put on orders for Vietnam. Did Vietnam orientation at Ft. Dix, NJ (laugh) after which our orders were changed to Camp Darby, Italy due to our school grades. The AUTODIN site was not finished so we were sent TDY to Pirmasens Germany AUTODIN for 3 months while the Italian site was being finished. I stayed in Italy until 12/1970, then back to US for Discharge.
