Bio

Master Sergeant Aderhold hails from Rome, Georgia and graduated from Coosa High School in 1992 where he enlisted in the Air Force later that same year. His first assignment was in Aviano Air Base, Italy where he supported NATO Operations SKY MONITOR and DENY FLIGHT over the skies of Bosnia and Herzegovina. In 1997, MSgt Aderhold was assigned to the 99th Security Support Flight at Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada where he met his wife Cindy. From there he deployed to Incirlik Air Base, Turkey and secured coalition aircraft enforcing Operation NORTHERN WATCH over Iraqi airspace. In 1999, MSgt Aderhold took on a different challenge and re-trained into the Combat Arms career field where he graduated with honors and took on his first assignment as an instructor at Robins Air Force Base, Georgia. Shortly after the birth of his oldest son, Colby, MSgt Aderhold received his dream orders and moved to Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska. From there, he deployed to Kirkuk AB, Iraq in support of Operation IRAQI FREEDOM where he performed duties as heavy weapons flight chief responsible for securing 4000 coalition forces. MSgt Aderhold responded to numerous calls for heavy weapons support and flawlessly integrated his teams with the 173rd Airborne Brigade in patrolling the Surface to Air Missile footprint outside of the secure boundaries of the installation. He returned home in time to see the birth of his youngest son, Justin, and then brought his family to Malmstrom AFB, Montana where he would finish up his distinguished career after 21 years of service
