SFC Manchego graduated from Utah Valley University in May 2019 with an Bachelor’s Degree in Technology Management. SFC Manchego joined the Army Reserves in October 1998. He attended basic training and AIT at Ft. Leonard Wood, MO and graduated as a 62B, Construction Equipment Repairer. Upon graduation he was assigned to the 872nd Direct Support Maintenance Company as a Heavy Construction Equipment Mechanic. In July 2001, he attended re-class School in Camp Roberts, CA where he earned the 63W Heavy Wheel Mechanic MOS. In April 2005, SFC Manchego deployed with the 872nd Direct Support Maintenance Company as part of OIF to Mosul, Iraq. In September of 2006, SFC Manchego transferred to the 191th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion in Salt Lake City, Utah. In January 2011, he attended re-class school at Ft Eustis, VA where he earned the 88N, Transportation Management Coordinator MOS. In February 2011, SFC Manchego transferred to the 96th Sustainment Brigade in Salt Lake City, Utah as Transportation NCOIC of the SPO section. In August 2013, SFC Manchego deployed with the 971st MCT in Eugene, OR as the Detachment Sergeant. SFC Manchego is now assigned to the 96th Sustainment Brigade SPO section as the Construction Equipment Supervisor.
