FA officer since 1991. Served with 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), 41st FA BDE, USMA Social Sciences Dept, 3ID, 214th Fires BDE, and 4ID. Commanded 2nd BN, 5th FA from 2009-11. Two deployments to Iraq (one as XO for 1st BDE, 3ID in Ramadi (2007-08)) and one to Afghanistan (served as DCO for 2nd Bde, 4ID). Currently studying for a PhD in International Relations at SAIS to join USAWC faculty
