Recalled to Active Duty from Retired status to support the "Surge". Coordination and documentation for the Baghdad Plan: recruiting, training, equipping, and placing initially 12k Iraq police in Baghdad, with a goal to achieve over 52k police as well as to coordinate with brigades and coalition forces throughout Iraq. This continued across numerous subordinate brigade rotations as well as at the Corps level.
