West Africa

Initially a good will cruise to West African nations, we conducted a Non Combatant Evacuation Operation due to a Coup d'etat in The Gambia. Evacuated 3 Peace Corps workers, the President of The Gambia, his family, and cabinet. The president had asked for US military assistance in putting down the Coup. I had 72 Marines, including my 2 cooks.
