538th Trans Company | Vietnam

I was first hauling JP/4 Helicopter fuel from 1/2 of 2 core all of 3 Core and 4Core I hauled for about 6 months then I was made SGT and became NCOIC of convoys. I had a jeep, M60,M79,and 45 assigned to me along with a Gunner and Driver and one large radio that would reach other countries. I have been ion Cambodia several times. My unit had 101 people, several of my brothers have died from Agent Orange issues I myself have issues as well. IOt's hard to believe I made it out of that place.

M<y unit was the 538th Transportation Company, 4th Transportation Battalion, 7th Transportation Command. My area of operations was 2,3,and 4corp. I hauled JP/4 Helicopter Fuel and once I made SGT I was made NCOIC of convoys leading convoys all over the country and even into Cambodia. I was awarded the Bronze Star medal from General Abrams.
