USS Guadalcanal was first assignment after HM IDC school. Worked in medical records for several months then moved to sick call. Worked in flight deck medical, preventive medicine, lab, and pharmacy. Several cruises as ship's company then another 6 month cruise as member of surgical team. North atlantic cruises and mediterranean cruises.
