I was selected for WOFT in the November board, however, my unit will be going to Korea for a rotation here soon. I don't have a class date for WOCS yet, but my unit needs those dates to determine when, for how long, and if I will be going on this rotation. I'm actively working on getting the class dates but I was told, off the record, by a CW4 friend that since I am classified as Warrant Officer Accessions branch now, my unit shouldn't be able to send me at all. Any information on a situation like this?

You can technically be deployed, but your unit must accommodate a return to allow you enough time to clear and pcs

Same thing happend to my buddy. He ending up going on a europe rotation, got orders and had to be sent back home to pack up and pcs. Contact the accessions branch manager.

I've been speaking to him about dates but the whole "I need dates now or we'll just send you and figure it out later" ultimatum came up.

I would talk to your CO and explain the situation. Express to him/her, you would like to stay back and sort out your affairs prior to wocs. You should be getting orders soon anyways, HBL is probably what has them delayed.
