With this administration that believes it is above the law, why would this be a surprise?
He confessed to numerous crimes. Now he may get away with all of them.

Let us hope that the judge has more integrity and respect for law than those supporting this move.

MSG (Join to see) - Exactly. The libs on here are full of BS. His signed statement of confession is on the DOJ website and only mentions lying to FBI. His Son who has a very similar name as General Flynn was also targeted to put additional pressure on General Flynn to sign the admittance that he lied. So the libs could be conflating the two individuals as one with the multiple counts BS. Regardless, signing a statement under duress and having Federal Agents entrap you prior to doing that are two strikes against the case they had and if it was a civilian case the prosecution would be dragged into a retrial at a minimum.

Capt Prickett, according to every source I have researched, only 2 people in the 1800s were ever charged with the act and no one was convicted

This railroading was WORSE than Watergate. That was a break-in; this was the use of goverment agencies to make up evidence and basically force someone to plead guilty to save his family. Well done.

I think the entrapment coupled with the duress tips the scale against any conviction. In my view they should have tried the case before a judge and DOJ should have covered General Flynns legal costs. I think the dismissal leads to all kinds of spurious counter charges that are full of crap and does not resolve the case as clearly as a retrial would.

Just amazing how Barr’s influence has tainted the DoJ. If they’re gonna question how the FBI investigated Flynn and others then maybe we should also question how the DoJ and FBI currently conducts investigations into anything Barr orders. Maybe all guilty pleas and confessions should be audited. Or we can just admit Barr is there rewrite the facts. I’m sure Manafort will be next. They’ll say he too was setup and didn’t commit any of his crimes either.

LCpl Bradley Gross Well I never went to court over a traffic ticket cuz when I admit to doing something wrong I accept the punishment.
And if a cop asks me a question I’m honest with my answers. Thanks for the analogy. It made my point.

LCpl Bradley Gross One more thing, as a Black man in this country one doesn’t give law enforcement reason to claim one is guilty of something. Had my fair share of bogus traffic stops knowing they’re looking for anything.

LCpl Bradley Gross Well there was the time in small town in Okla. I got pulled over and the deputy said it was for the 2 in. crack in the passenger side of my windshield. So of course he had to ask where I’m coming from, where I’m going, and ran my NM plates. Then let me off again with a warning. To this day, I’m still amazed he saw the small crack when I passed his lil speed trap on the highway, cruise control set to 65 (the speed limit).

Yeah. I can share some stories from my road trips across our fine nation.

LCpl Bradley Gross Or Illinois plates in Wyoming. Yep different types of biases: yankee, redneck, Black, immigrant, etc. Now you get it.
