Why are the FY21 RC MAJ APL PSB results taking so long to be published?
This is more of a vent than an actual question, as I'm sure no one here knows the exact answer. Just frustrating that last year, during COVID, the results were published in mid-July. Here we are, almost 2 months past that, and nothing published. This also delays us being able to make our ILE selections. This board recessed in March, and other results have been published in a fraction of the time.

Oh, and ILE FY22 class just started in June. The wait is frustrating but you got plenty of time to make a selection (or better yet, the Army will decide for you)

Actually, the results weren’t released until JANUARY 2021. Trust me, I had to wait as well. I feel your pain, hang in there.

Thanks. Yeah, I'm tracking this year's release timeline. The issue is that they published a MILPER amendment stating that we'd make our selections in SEP rather than the original plan of making them in JAN, with the slating report coming out on 4 OCT. The way the MILPER reads is that making our selections isn't contingent on the promotion list being released, but rather if you ended up not being on the promotion list, you'd just be removed from ILE consideration. The POC told me the other day that they are now waiting on the list, but will not be publishing another amendment stating that, which doesn't make any sense and now they're contradicting their own MILPER. They'll have to publish something so we know to go in and make our selections.

The results are on Mrs. Johnson's desk, but unfortunately she went on leave so they won't be published until she gets back...
