I found this.
PiCAT will count as a military applicant’s official ASVAB score of record if the applicant passes a 25-30 minute proctored verification test to confirm their PiCAT results. The applicant will have 30 days after the PiCAT is completed to take a verification test at the Military Entrance Processing Station (MEPS), or a Military Entrance Test (MET) site. The verification test validates the PiCAT score for use as the official test score of record. As a result, the applicant will enlist under their PiCAT score after the applicant passes the verification test.

I don't know about that.
What that article essentially said was: a recruit would have to take a 25-30 minute proctored exam at MEPS within 30 days of the online exam, in order for the PiCAT to be used in lieu of the ASVAB.
With regard to whether this reflects current practice, I defer to your Recruiter.

I interpret it as saying passing the proctored 25-30 minute "verification" exam permits the use of the original PiCAT score.
It wouldn't make sense to count the scores on the 25-30 minute exam. Rather, the proctored exam "certifies" the PiCAT scores.

1SG (Join to see) - The test proctor at MEPS and my recruiter said it was random as well. If your scores don’t match as well on the verification then you retake it as well. Or it can be a random retest. I took the entire test after the PiCAT and it confirmed my scores instead of giving me new ones.

All test scores wipe the previous ones clean if they still do like in years past!
In other words, new test, news scores, old ones are archived!

Sweet! My recruiter wants me to take the ASVAB instead of the confirmation test and I go to MEPS tomorrow. Is it to late to take the Confirmation test first before the actual ASVAB?

(Join to see) That one I don’t know... Would relax and get some sleep, the ASVAB is the biggest test you need to be concerned with! Sleep well... Test well...!
