What do you think about Sergeant Major of the Army Dailey and the changes that he has made? What about the fact that he actually listens to soldiers?

The fact that the SMA actually listens to soldiers is great SSG(P) (Join to see). I hope he keeps this communication channel open and expands it to include other soldiers throughout his tour of duty as SMA. I hope there is a way for him to systematically influence the other CSMs to listen to their soldiers.

While I have no issue with SMA Dailey, I think there are better areas of concern to fix than what color of socks a person can wear in APFU. Or the IKE jacket.

Very true. But seeing these simple changes helps morale - so some of us can ease our aggravation while the other areas of concern are worked out. (Thinking of the tattoos, socks, and new uniform [not sure if that was SMA Dailey or not])
