How long does it take to hear anything from WHCA after you apply?

I received an email saying I meet the qualifications for an assignment at WHCA for 88m and it contained a link to download the application form. I sent the form with other supporting documents to an email address listed on the website. I would kindly like to know how long it takes to hear anything back? Is there anything I have to do ?

It can be a little while or a long while till you hear back, but that's not really relevant because you have to pass a background check before you go. FYI, your branch can stabilize you for up to two years while you await your Yankee White clearance to be adjudicated. So you can be accepted and then wait years to get your assignment orders

How long ago did you submit the application SGT(P) (Join to see)? It really depends on J1 and if they are backed up or not. I would give it about a month. The process itself can take up to year from being selected, them doing the background check, then equip etc...
