If I want to work as a full time contractor or federal job while serving, what is the best route?

I'm a 1N0 considering crossing over to guard or reserves but I want to work a full time contractor or federal job while serving since there's a bigger need for intelligence outside of the military. Would becoming a IMA or technician be a better route?

All depends on what you want to do. Do a job search on all the private contractor companies or DoD sites. While you’re still active ask around your installation to employees that work there. I will have more access to information than you think. Best of luck to you!

I was attached IMEF as an IMA billet with 1MARDIV. IMA billet mean that you would have to take PTO time off from your civilian job to support your ACTIVE DUTY unit.
