That's gone. Marriage is not about raising children. But about what you can get in Benifits. And Children haven't any rights. According to Hillary.

COL Ted Mc TSgt Kenneth Ellis Not that I want to defend Hillary, but what she actually said on The View is that unborn children currently have no rights under the law. I don't know of her saying children, in general, have no rights. Here's a website where you can watch it. http://www.lifenews.com/2016/04/05/hillary-clinton-an-unborn-child-just-hours-before-delivery-has-no-constitutional-rights/
Hillary Clinton: An Unborn Child Just Hours Before Delivery Has No Constitutional Rights
During an interview on The View today, Hillary Clinton said an unborn child just hours before delivery should have no Constitutional rights. her comments come j

Cpl Mark McMiller - Corporal; Thank you for the link. Admittedly it probably won't do anything to change the mind of someone who thinks that Ms. Clinton said that CHILDREN had no constitutional rights.
PS - If CHILDREN had no constitutional rights then it would not be a crime to kill them - would it?

TSgt Kenneth Ellis - Sergeant; I see that you STILL haven't provided any evidence that Ms. Clinton ever said that NO ONE under the age of majority had any constitutional rights. Since Cpl Mark McMiller has provided a link to Ms. Clinton's (currently legally correct) statement with respect to the PREBORN, all you have to do now is provide a link to her statements concerning the POSTBORN.
As "Joe Jutsu" used to say on "Dick Tracy" - "Rotsa ruck.".

yeah, I'm not seeing how this is a "threat to traditional marriage" by any stretch

TSgt (Join to see) - Sergeant; Isn't it obvious? "What God has joined together, let no man put asunder." The very concept of "divorce" is antithetical to real Christianity. "Traditionally" once a Christian got married they were married for life and there was no way out of it (unless they paid off the church).

COL Ted Mc - Its not obvious, not by a long shot. Divorce has been happening for a long time now, and people are still getting married, traditionally or otherwise.
I respect your opinion, but that is coming strictly from you and your faith's point of view. Divorce is perfectly acceptable to other religions and christian denominations, as is sex before marriage.
The article does not state what religion the divorcees are but it does say that France has 66,000 divorces by mutual consent every year already, so I'm not really seeing a problem here. In fact I strongly believe that this should be practiced here in the US, as it would help alleviate some of the headaches that are inherent with long drawn out court proceedings and state mandated marriage counselling

TSgt (Join to see) - Sergeant; The fact that "Divorce has been happening for a long time now ..." has absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with the "Christian Prohibition" on divorce (unless you are rich enough to pay off "The Church").
PS - Statistically the highest instance of BOTH divorce and infidelity appears to be in those states where the highest proportion of people self-rate themselves as "very religious" (unfortunately I've lost the link).

Seems to me that what this really does, is put marriage back in the hands of the people. People are free to follow the advice of their religious leadership, the letter of their religious laws or take matters to the courts if both parties don't consent. It should be like this everywhere.
Note that I'm speaking both as someone who has been married for over 30 years and who is not a member of any Church. Our marriage was conducted in Denmark in a secular ceremony followed by a Catholic Church wedding (I was not Catholic) primarily for the benefit of my wife's parents.
