This is so in-line with the Obama Administration. Let's just give our soldiers incentive to leave the military early for better retirement funds in the civilian sector, thereby reducing our military numbers more easily. Let's hope something can change with a new administration.

Ugh. I joined in 1979 and was Grandfathered into the traditional 20 year/50% pension. Saw the "High-Three" years and the REDUX plans and was extremely thankful that I did not have to participate. Although I agree that the pension system needs work, I can see the TSP portion of this new system being robbed just like Social Security. Sorry but I just don't trust the bean-counters in DC.
