Erin Nelson The military has been flying windowless planes without the view for many moons. I would love to see this become a reality. Though it would make upchargiing for a window seat difficult for the airlines. From a safety standpoint, they would still need to have the windows on the emergency exits. In the event of a crash, and the ability to open an exit, the person opening the exit should be able to check for fire and other hazards before opening the exit.
There are some airlines that already have cameras on the exterior of the plane allowing passengers to view the area around the aircraft. It is not on this scale, but it is available.

PO3 Steven Sherrill I would certainly hope they should bring that into account of their construction. Not a flight for the feint of heart. :)
