I love Russian music! These are some of my favorites.
This one is by Boris Grebenschikov, who is kind of like the Russian Bob Dylan except with more talent as a musician. He's been doing it for 50 years or so.

Na-Na is sort of a boy-band, but you wouldn't know it from this song, and this song was my first exposure to them, and the thing that stood out to me in this song was the bass line -- it's so smooth! (I didn't realize until a long time later that he was playing a fretless bass).

Butusov's music is a bit progressive. This isn't my favorite song of his, but I like it a lot. (I couldn't find a good video of my favorite.)

Lyube (Igor Matvienko) is a bard. He does a lot of military tribute songs.

Alla Pugechova is, in the words of whoever it was who told me this, the Russian Tina Turner. She's been doing it for seemingly ever, and her voice is ageless.
